The main feature of JLA Hydro’s Pelton turbines is the possibility to have up to six on/off injectors, manually operated or motorized, allowing for multiple operating points. This flexibility ensures optimal efficiency at varying flow rates.

The Pelton turbine, invented in 1879 by Lester Allan Pelton, is an impulse turbine; ideally suited for medium to high heads.
JLA Hydro’s Pelton turbines stand out for their simple design and use.
The equipment is easy to install, civil engineering work is minimal and maintenance requirements are limited.
JLA Pelton turbines are equipped with a stainless-steel runner directly mounted on the vertical shaft of the generator, maximizing the turbo-generator unit’s efficiency.
The runner diameter and bucket size are specifically determined based on the characteristics of each site.
