This system makes it possible to control the speed of the turbo-generator group by controlling the turbine valves opening. It is used for:
- Frequency control of turbo-generator groups not connected to the national grid
- Connecting turbo-generator groups to the national grid

Electronic speed control with load control: Electronic Load Controller
This system makes it possible to regulate the speed of the turbogenerator group by controlling the electric charge applied to the alternator. It finds its application in :
- Frequency regulation of turbine generator units not connected to the national grid
- The coupling of turbine generator units to the national grid.
Main characteristics :
- PID control algorithm whose parameters are adjusted according to the inertia of the turbogenerator group
- Regulation by dissipation of energy in a bank of “ballast” electrical charges
- Very precise control of the frequency, even in case of sudden variation of the load of the user network
- Power stage composed of large sized thyristors

Electronic level control
This control system adjusts the quantity of water consumed by the turbine depending on the quantity of water actually present in the river by measuring the water level at the water inlet. In order to achieve this, the system activates the turbine valve openings.
